As I was originally starting to look through travel blogs, I was a little disappointed at the lack of specifics when it came to budgeting. There was a lot of talk about “this is how much I saved before I went” or “I spent x amount per day/country.” I, being the nosy person I am, wanted more specifics. I wanted to see how much people were spending on coffee, lodging, souvenirs etc. Now that Kevin and I have our own blog, I want to be as transparent as possible. I want to list out the places we go, what went spend on x, and how our budget is doing.
However, if this isn’t something you find interesting, let us know. We don’t want to bore or alienate our readers!
Below is the map of places we went in Iceland, along with a breakdown of what we spent money on. Everything has been converted into US Dollars.
